07.22.07: Welcome all new members! Roleplaying is currently not an option, just for a bit, while we wait for Jak to finish the Vetray territory. So, please do not start any threads in pack camp or terra. However, feel free to create bios and chat=] You will be able to roleplay soon. Also, the Vetray leader position is open, as well as all Second-in-commands, Healers, and plot characters.

And they will be your only hope...
While the packs enjoy an unnatural stretch of peace between them, the gods are in peril. Those who have lived in peace for so long are now warring. And the gods of hate, sickness, and war are winning. In a last desperate attempt, the losing gods gift four cats, one from each pack, with incredible gifts in hopes that they will be able to guide the others through the harsh and horrible times to come. But some just aren't able to let go, and then others must come to battle...
And for some reason no one finds it odd when they find two kittens, barely old enough to leave the nursery, battling in the forest with unsheathed claws. They take the kittens back, letting them pick which pack they join. One kit, black with red streaks, who's name is apparently Kapriki(Ka-PREE-kee), joins the darkest race, while the other, a light colored kit who's name is Fauna, joins the most mysterious race. Only after does a healer notice that they carry the names and appearance of the two arch enemy gods, Fauna; the god of love and good, and Kapriki, the god of war and evil. And soon after this healer mysteriously disappears. What do these two mysterious kits bring? And if the cats of the forest don't figure it out in time, it could tear the entire forest apart...

Next thing you know, you are pulled away from everything you have ever known and literally tossed into a new world with a perilous threat and a cruel sense of humor. Imagine you are one of the many animals who is abandoned everyday in the world, lost, helpless, and utterly alone...
Threadbare is a roleplay to commemorate all these poor animals. Here, we roleplay stray cats who have been abandoned by their owners either as kittens or adults. Make your way in this new and foreboding world as the struggle for power and territory continues around you. This is the city of Pensky. This, my friends, is Threadbare.

Jack and Betty are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, when Jack asks his wife, ¡°Betty, have you ever cheated on me?¡±
Betty replies, ¡°Oh Jack, why would you ask such a question now? You don¡¯t want to ask that question.¡±
¡°Yes, Betty, I really want to know. Please.¡±
¡°Well, all right. Yes, three times¡¡±
¡°Three?!? Well, when were they?¡± he asked.
¡°Well, Jack, remember when you were 35 years-old and you really wanted to start a business on your own, and no bank would give you a loan? But, then one day the bank president himself came over to the house and signed the loan papers, no questions asked?¡±
¡°Oh, Betty, you did that for me? I guess I can¡¯t be too upset about that. Well, when was number 2?¡±
¡°Well, Jack, remember when you had that last heart attack and needed that very risky operation that no surgeon was willing to perform? And, remember how Dr. DeBakey came all the way up here, to perform the surgery himself?¡±
¡°Betty, you should do such a thing for me, to save my life. To do such a thing, you must truly love me darling. How can I be upset with that?¡±
¡°So, all right then, when was number 3?¡±
¡°Well, Jack, remember a few years ago, when you really wanted to be president of the golf club and you were 17 votes short?¡±

It's a beautiful, warm spring morning and a man and his wife are spending the day at the zoo. She's wearing a cute, loose-fitting, pink spring dress, sleeveless with straps. He's wearing his normal jeans and a T-shirt.
The zoo is not very busy this morning.As they walk through the ape exhibit, they pass in front of a very large hairy gorilla. Noticing the woman, the gorilla goes ape. He jumps up on the bars, and holding on with one hand (and 2 feet), he grunts and pounds his chest with his free hand. He is obviously excited at the pretty lady in the wavy dress.
The husband, noticing the excitement, thinks this is funny. He suggests that his wife teases the poor fellow some more. The husband suggests she pucker her lips, wiggle her bottom at him, and play along.
She does, and Mr. Gorilla gets even more excited, making noises that would wake the dead.
Then the husband suggests that she let one of her straps fall to show a little more skin.
She does, and Mr. Gorilla is about to tear the bars down.
"Now try lifting your dress up your thighs and sort of fan it at him." he says. This drives the gorilla absolutely crazy and now he's doing flips.
Then the husband nabs his wife by the hair, rips open the door to the cage, slings her into the cage with the gorilla and slams the cage door shut. "Now, tell HIM you have a headache . . . "
Suspicious Mother « Result #6 on Mar 26, 2009, 8:18pm »
Brian invited his mother over for dinner. During the course of the meal, Brian's mother couldn't help but keep noticing how beautiful Brian's roommate, Stephanie, was.
Brian's Mom had long been suspicious of a relationship between Brian and Stephanie, and this had only made her more curious. Over the course of the evening, while watching the two react, she started to wonder if there was more between Brian and Stephanie than met the eye. Reading his mom's thoughts, Brian volunteered, "I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you Stephanie and I are just roommates."
About a week later, Stephanie came to Brian saying, "Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the beautiful silver gravy ladle. You don't suppose she took it, do you?" Brian said, "Well, I doubt it, but I'll send her an e-mail just to be sure". So he sat down and wrote:
"Dear Mom: I'm not saying that you "did" take the gravy ladle from the house; I'm not saying that you "did not" take the gravy ladle. But the fact remains that one has been missing ever since you were here for
dinner. Love, Brian".
Several days later, Brian received an email back from his mother that read:
"Dear Son: I'm not saying that you "do" sleep with Stephanie; I'm not saying that you "do not" sleep with Stephanie. But the fact remains that if Stephanie is sleeping in her own bed, she would have found the gravy ladle by now. Love, Mom."

Two couples were playing cards. Jeff accidentally dropped some cards on the floor. When he bent down under the table to pick them up, he noticed that Dave's wife, Sandy, was not wearing any underwear! Shocked by this, Jeff hit his head on the table and emerged red-faced.
Later when Jeff went to the kitchen to get some refreshments Sandy followed him and asked, "Did you see anything under the table that you liked?" Jeff admitted, "Well, yes I did." She said "you can have it, but it will cost you $100."
After a minute or two, Jeff indicates that he is interested. She tells him that since Dave works Friday afternoons and Jeff doesn't, that Jeff should come to their house around 2:00 PM on Friday.
Friday came and Jeff went to her house at 2:00 PM. After paying her the $100, they went to the bedroom, had sex for a few hours and then Jeff left.
Dave came home about 6:00 PM and asked his wife, "Did Jeff come by this afternoon?" Totally shocked, Sandy replied, "Yes, he did stop by for a few minutes." Next Dave asked, "Did Jeff give you $100?" Sandy thought, 'Oh hell, he knows!' Reluctantly she said, "Yes, he did give me $100."
"Good," Dave says. "Jeff came by the office this morning and borrowed the $100 from me and said that he'd stop by our house on his way home and pay me back. It's so good to have a friend you can trust."

"I am going in, you can't change my mind." Hunter mewed. The other members shook their heads, they knew he wouldn't come back alive. "NO! You are not leaving us!" Jagged hissed. The city cats are getting fierious and wanting in the clans. They were pushed away and spit at, so they are getting together to create a new clan, the WealthClan. The clan of wealth. They get what they want when they get it, but they go into the forest ever so often to fight. Are they strong enough?
Fire alone can save our clan...

Bramblestar lead the clans through the dark tunnel. Cries of Queens and kits rang through the tunnel. Suddenly a kit cried out, "Look!" In front of all the Clans were several starry cats, leading the way. The stars shined on them. Bramblestar perked up and said to one of the starry cats, "Firestar?" Firestar just smiled and turned around leading the way to a new home. Another kit cried out, "Look how the stars shine on them! We should call this Star Shine Pass!" Cats murmured in agreement.
The Cats at Star Shine Pass have lived many moons in peace and harmony. But when Tigerstar starts getting a grip on the hearts of young kits, cats start to turn away from StarClan and toward SpaceClan, Tigerstar's rein. From evil everywhere, Thunderclan became FlameClan, Riverclan became FrostClan, Windclan became AirClan, and Shadowclan became DarkClan. Will Wildstar and Hawkstar be able to turn the hearts of young and old cats everywhere back to their ancestors in the sky or will a leader of old be sent back to rein again and change the clans?
